The Thermals

I just watched The Colbert Report from last night with his guests Green Day. Watching their performance got me into kind of a pop punk mood. So I threw on some of my favorite pop punkers, The Thermals. Their new album is kind of hit or miss, but their last, The Body, The Blood, The Machine, and it’s biblical overtones, still kind of blows me away. It’s a testament to the quality literate music the genre can potentially produce.
