Get your art snob on

The Cool Hunting podcast has a very interesting episode on exhibition design focused around the Whitney Biennial 2008. If you didn’t see the show itself here’s a chance to check out some of the art that was on display.

And on the art as music tip, I’ve been listening to this High Places self titled debut album for some time now. These crazy brooklyn kids get down with some homemade dub-like rhythms and fuzzed out vocals. It makes me feel like summer’s here and i’m hanging out by a lagoon in fiji. It’s definitely art music, but it’s definitely good. Get your hands on it.
